Lea Michele Channels Her Inner Mary Tyler Moore in NYC

Looks like someone's about to "turn the world on with their smile." 

Lea Michele was spotted in New York City yesterday filming scenes for Glee's upcoming trip to nationals in a full-on homage to a beloved 70s sitcom, The Mary Tyler Moore Show. In the opening credits of the show, Mary Tyler Moore is seen walking around the big city and throwing her beret up in the air in excitement. 

Since Rachel Berry has dreams of starring on Broadway, the NYC trip is especially thrilling. We're thinking this enthusiasm will likely bubble over into a musical number.

"Now it's time to get movin because my dream of shooting Glee in NYC is finally coming true!" Lea tweeted. "Hope u r ready NYC...Miss Rachel Berry is here!!"
